Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of TrueStyler ("TrueStyler," "we," "us," or "our"), the virtual styling application available at https://truestyler.ai. By creating an account, accessing, or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

2. Age Requirements & Protection of Minors

The service is strictly intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. You are strictly prohibited from uploading, processing, or generating any content depicting minors. We reserve the right to immediately remove any imagery featuring minors and report potential violations to relevant authorities without prior notice.

3. Likeness Rights & Consent Warranty

You warrant that any photograph you upload depicts either yourself or an individual from whom you have obtained express, written consent to upload their likeness and generate synthetic clothing modifications. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights to any imagery submitted.

4. Prohibited Conduct & "Not a Nudifier" Policy

This platform is a virtual styling tool and is NOT an undressing, nudifying, or sexually explicit application. You may not upload nude, semi-nude, or sexually suggestive imagery, nor use the service to create non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), defamatory material, or harassing content. Any attempt to circumvent these boundaries will result in an immediate account ban and forfeiture of look balances.

5. Plans, Renewal & Cancellation

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically at the start of each billing period, at the plan's then-current price, until you cancel. Each plan grants a set number of looks per billing period; unused plan looks do not roll over. Top-up packs and promotional looks do not expire while your account exists and are used after your plan's looks.

Upgrading takes effect immediately and is charged the full price difference between the two plans at the time of the upgrade. Downgrading takes effect at your next renewal.

You can cancel at any time from "Plans & billing" in your account menu, then "Manage billing." Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep your remaining looks until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

6. Purchases & No-Refund Policy

Due to the immediate computational costs incurred with cloud-based AI generation, all purchases (including subscriptions and top-up packs) are final and non-refundable once consumed. By purchasing a plan or top-up, you acknowledge that look generation begins immediately and you expressly waive any statutory right of withdrawal or refund for utilized services. Unused balances do not hold cash value.

7. Session Data & Liability

Our current platform does not support resuming a styling session after you leave it. You are responsible for downloading any generated images before closing your browser or logging out. We keep uploaded photos and generated looks for up to 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy, and may be able to help recover them if you contact us within that time, but we do not guarantee data recovery and are not liable for any lost images, lost sessions, or spent look credits resulting from network drops, browser closures, or service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property & Technology Restrictions

The application, including its backend engine, interface, custom algorithms, and overall design, is our exclusive intellectual property. We grant you a limited, personal license to use the platform for generating styling images. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software. Furthermore, you strictly agree not to reverse-engineer our code, scrape our data, attempt to extract our underlying AI prompts, or use our platform to develop a competing product or service.

9. Account Deletion, Termination & Data

You may delete your account at any time from "Manage account" in your account menu. Deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription without refund, forfeits any remaining looks, and permanently deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend, discontinue, or terminate the Service, or your access to it, at any time. We have no obligation to maintain your uploaded photos or account data in the event the Service is permanently discontinued.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

AI-generated images and styling advice are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties that outputs will be error-free, photorealistic, or meet specific aesthetic expectations. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims or damages arising from your misuse of the service or uploaded imagery. In no event shall our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the preceding twelve months, or 100 USD, whichever is less.

11. Dispute Resolution & Binding Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be settled exclusively through binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court. You expressly waive any right to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
